Ingredients

  • Small mango raw 1


  • Salt 1 tsp


  • Water 5 cup


  • Jeera 1 tsp


  • Red chilli 1


  • Curry leaves 1 string


  • Cooking oil 1 tsp


  • Jeera chilli 3-4


  • Asafoetida 1 pinch

Directions

  • Peel off and chop finely raw mango, discard seed
  • Bring it to cook soft by adding 1 cup of water, and salt.
  • Take off flame, allow it to warm, grind smoothly and strain it, add sufficient water.
  • Bring it to boil finely, check and adujst salt and water.
  • Heat a pan, add cooking oil, mustard seeds, jeera, red chilli, let it splutter.
  • Add asafoetida and curry leaves, take off flame.
  • Add temper into boiling saaru, serve malnadu monsoon special as soup or saaru with hot rice.
